What to Expect at Your First Appointment

When you visit our hearing center in Candler, NC, you will always be greeted by our front desk receptionist.

We will begin with a conversation to get to know you. We will ask you some questions about your health history, family history, and current hearing ability.

Then we will perform an ear exam by looking at your ear canal and eardrum for any signs of impacted earwax or ear infection.

Once we’ve determined your ears are clear, then we will begin the hearing test. The hearing test is quick and simple and will assess your ability to hear sounds in quiet and in noise.

After the hearing test we will go over your results with you which are recorded on an audiogram. We encourage you to ask any questions you may have.
